2011 Stage 3

An American rider gets the win on the Fourth of July. This win is doubly special for Tyler Farrar. At Wouter Welant's funeral, Tyler promised Wouter's father that he would win a stage in the Tour de France for him. It was nice to see him be able to keep that promise.

In the fantasy competition, I must admit that I am more than a little surprised to find myself in second and Mom in third. Team Leftovers 1 is currently dominating the scene, although I can take a little solace in the fact that I chose the riders for Leftovers 1. I a also a bit surprised to see how well Team People With Cool Sounding Names is doing.
