Stage 8

A Dark day today for Lance Armstrong fans. Floyd Landis and Greg LeMond must be euphoric over Armstrong's loss of over ten minutes today, ending his chances for the podium. Even with Lance down though, My fantasy team takes a very commanding lead with both Evans and Hushovd earning me bonus jersey points today.

Stage 7

The first of the mountains. This is where Mom is supposed to take over the race, yet somehow I managed to stay in the lead. With Cancellera out of the yellow, Mom loses 10 bonus points while Cadel Evans slots into second overall. Although she does pick up the 5 bonus points for Andy Schleck taking over the white jersey competition, so I guess she did gain 2 points back on me today. However, I predict that tomorrow I will be earning 20 bonus points per day: 10 for Thor Hushovd in Green and 10 for Cadel Evans in yellow.
